Beginnig of a Conflict.....

It is common place these days to hear a daily commentary on the Arab-Israeli conflict. The latest is Israel should relinquish it borders back to pre 1967 borders which cuts Jerusalem in half. If they have to do this, then maybe the USA should give back its 13 original colonies to England? It is not reasonable and won’t happen, and Israel should not have to give up her borders either.

But when did all this conflict start? Who were the original players in this world changing conflict? To get to the bottom of this, we need to visit the book of Genesis and chapters 16 on. Abram and Sarai were promised by God to have a son and that that son would become a mighty nation. Well, Sarai was barren and figuring she knew better than God, gave her handmaid Hagar to Abram to bed with and she conceived Abrams first son Ishmael. Abram was 86 years old. However this son was not the one God promised would become a mighty nation. That would be the son bore by Sarai at 99 years of age named Isaac. He would be the recipient of the covenant of God.

Although Isaac would become rightful heir to God’s sacred covenant to Abram, (later changed to Abraham), Ishmael was not left out in the cold by God. An angel of the LORD appeared unto her with a promise from God that Ishmael too would be a mighty nation. And so he did become the father of twelve (12) sons that would become the Arab nation. Isaac would become the nation and people chosen by God Israel.

For more than 4000 years the Arab nation has stood against Israel and has suffered major defeats. Israel will one day claim the Arab land as her own and there is nothing the seed of Ishmael can do about it. Gods tells us that Israel is His chosen people, the apple of His eye. Whoever stands wit her would be blessed, those who stand against her would be cursed.

As a nation the USA has stood side by side Israel and was blessed. Recently, due in part to taking God slowly out of this country, our elected officials are standing against Israel by asking her to give up what was promised by God and they have fought for.

Where do you stand? Are you on Israel’s side and are you aligned with God? If not you are running out of time. All one has to do is look at what is happening in this depravity filled world to see that Jesus’ return is imminent. Are you ready? Jesus said, “Except a man be born again, he CAN NOT, (emphasis mine), see the kingdom of God”. He said further, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh unto the father but by me.”

No one or nothing except the blood of Jesus can get you to heaven. If you do not know Him as you personal saviour, you will spend eternity in a place called hell burning in a lake of fire, separated from God. Won’t you come to Jesus today? All you have to do is call on Him and believe He died for you and rose again proving He is God. Ask Him into your life today and then start living for Him.

Family Time......

I love going to spend time with family. When you are cut off, there is a sense of loss. I especially remember going to my grandparents at Christmas time. We would walk in to their house in Van Nuys California and the smells were off the hook.

In Hebrew we are told, "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

We are to gather and fellowship with one another. We are to console each other and encourage one another and even more often as the King of Kings Jesus Christ gets ready to call His people home. With the possibility of a Palestinian state being recognized, an air of chaos is looming over Israel, in particular over Jerusalem. If the events come about that the government of Israel has prepared themselves for, the final wheels will shortly be set into motion. All one has to do is watch the events going on in Israel.

I watched and listened as several US as well as British statesmen said, "If we ever want to see peace in the Middle East than Israel will have to recognize Palestine and share her land with them!" God says, " Israel is the apple of His eye. And whoever stand with her He will bless, whoever stands against her He will curse."

Always look forward to going to your Heavenly Father's house. Enter His court with thanksgiving, and His gates with praise. God feeds us good when we are at His house. Every time there is a feast. And the joy I get when I see my family and grandchildren there is beyond none other.

Road to the Rapture????....

Extended from 12 September 2011 to 20 September 2011, the general assembly of the United Nations will vote to make a sovereign Palestinian state in Israel. If this happens, Jerusalem will be split in two. Many people believe that this could lead to some yet unfulfilled prophetic wars listed in the Old Testament and Revelation.

Are we on the road to Armageddon, the rapture, and the tribulation? Let’s look at some cold hard facts and what God says. The world scene today is filled with great turmoil and uncertainty. Churches are closing and some are falling away from God period. Every country in this world is in some sort of financial dire straits.

The Middle East is filled with growing pangs and once powerful nations have been weakened by internal strife and civil unrest. Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Turkey has made gestures and statements toward the destruction of Israel, I believe to take attention away from the implosion that has begun in that country.

Israel has prepared for a riot in excess of 12 million people that are predicted to storm her borders. This Palestinian statehood could lead to the start of the war prophesied in Psalms

 83.  There are specific countries listed in the Psalms, Tyre is Lebanon, the Ammonites are Jordan, The Hagrites are Egypt and Syria, possibly with some of western Iraq, will begin a war with Israel. Israel will defeat these nations once and for all. This will result in her borders expanding to the original borders of the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Turkey has sent frigates to dismantle any Israeli ship that ventures outside of its 12 mile oceanic borders. Eventually they will steam into the Gaza region and Haifa where Israel found the richest cache of oil on Earth. Turkey claims this as their land. What does all this lead to? The final conflict of Gog and Magog listed in Ezekiel 38 and Ezekiel 39.

Time is running out my friends. Are you ready for that grand day when Jesus will come in the clouds with a shout and the trumpet of the Lord will sound? God in the form of Jesus came to this Earth in order to pay for our sin debt. He died that day and was buried and three days later, Jesus rose from the dead proving He is God. All you have to do is confess to Him that you are a sinner and ask forgiveness of your sins.

Believe that Jesus came to Earth and died to pay your price and ask Him into your life. It is easy. Just pray the simple prayer listed in my first post and you can know for sure you are going to heaven. This is a time predicted over 2000 years ago. God is coming again, and His return is imminent.

God's Feathers....

“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.” Psalms 91:4

Some people are confused by the word feathers on this verse. Today I pray God will speak through me so that an understanding could be reached. I do not know if God has feathers, but I do know He refers to birds quite often through out His word.

We are told throughout the Psalms that God is our refuge and strength. In His arms are we safe. From what I have read, this is still referring to His arms. The wing of a mother hen is a safe haven for you chicks. When the weather gets bad and the winds pick up, or when a predator is around, the young mother hen gathers all of her chicks under her wings.

Psalms 125:2 says, “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people from henceforth and forever.”

When trials come into our lives and we just don’t know what to do, like that young chick, we should run for the protection of God’s feathers. I believe they are a symbol for His arms. There is comfort, strength, warmth, and protection in His everlasting arms. “Come unto me all ye that are weak and heavy laden, for I shall give you rest.”

God loves each and every one of us. He loves us so much that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus paid our sin debt and now offers a gift of eternity in paradise. All we have to do is reach out and take it. Admit we are sinners, repent, and ask God to save us. What is keeping you from asking Him? He is waiting to shield you in His arms, just run to Him today.

Ten Years Later...

In thinking about tomorrow and the event it marks from ten (10) years ago, I was wondering what can I say about it. Ten year ago this country was brought to its collective knees for a bit. But then like the fighter that just refuses to stay down we stood up, and motioned for the terrorists to just bring it.

I remember the day the jets flew into the twin towers, my heart sank. I looked at my wife and thought, this is our last day together. Family was calling telling us they were okay back in the Jersey area. They watched in horror as these airliners targeted the buildings. Today, it is my sincere prayer that every Bible believing Born again Christian that professes Christ as their personal saviour, get on their knees and pray for revival the likes this world has never ever seen. I, like millions of Americans can remember where we were when this horrific event took place. Will you in another ten years be able to remember what you did or where you were on the tenth anniversary of the single event that would change the United States of America.

The best thing anybody can do on this tenth anniversary is ask Jesus to be their personal saviour. He gave His life to pay our debt for sin. We can only wonder how many of those that died on 9/11/2001 actually went to heaven. The sad reality is, probably not many. They were not prepared. You can prepare today for eternity. If you call on Jesus and ask Him into your life, confess you are a sinner and ask forgiveness for those sins, you Jesus will forgive you and write your name in the Lamb's Book of Life. That is the only way to heaven.

Warrior's Prayer....

"For we wrestle not flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole amour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." - Ephesians 6:12 & 13.

God wanted us to learn through Paul and the church at Ephesus to wage our wars against Satan and his helpers. We should not worry about what people are thinking about us. After all, Jesus told us that we are persecuted because of him. We are attacked because we as born again Bible believing Christians because of the stand we take for the only true God. There is a prayer that is written based on the Holy Armour of God, And I will reproduce it here. Life is too short to fight these needless battles. Our concerns should be to bring as many lost people to Jesus as we can before we leave this Earth. That is our job. We need to worry about what God thinks of us, and that we hear those precious words from God, "Well done thou good and faithful servant."

The Warrior's Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Your warrior prepares for battle.
Today I claim victory over Satan by putting on the whole armor of God!

I put on the Girdle of Truth!
May I stand firm in the truth of Your Word
so I will not be a victim of Satan's
and his demons' lies.

I put on the breastplate of Righteousness!
May it guard my heart from evil
so I will remain pure and holy,
protected under the blood of Jesus Christ.

I put on the Shoes of Peace!
May I stand firm in the Good News of the Gospel
so Your peace will shine through me
and be a light to all I encounter.

I take the Shield of Faith!
May I be ready for Satan's fiery darts of
doubt, denial and deceit
so I will not be vulnerable to spiritual defeat.

I put on the Helmet of Salvation!
May I keep my mind focused on You
so Satan will not have a stronghold on my
thoughts.

I take the Sword of the Spirit!
May the two edged sword of Your Word
be ready in my hands
so I can expose the tempting words of Satan.

By faith your warrior has put on
the whole armor of God!

I am prepared to live this day, in spiritual victory!
In His most Holy Name!!!

You can know for sure....

About two thousand years ago, a man was born of a virgin. Remarkable and isolated as this incident is. Because no other human was ever conceived or born from a virgin. It is just not physically possible. Biological science dictates that it takes a male seed and a female egg in order for a viable human life to begin.

About five hundred years before that; a prophet named Isaiah, preached and foretold that one day a virgin would conceive a child. Isaiah 7:14 states, "Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel."

Immanuel in the Hebrew language means "God with us". And that is the key. You see, that Bible tells us we are all sinners, Roman 3:23 states. "For all have sinned,". Someone had to sacrifice them self in order to pay off our debt of sin. That person had to be perfect in every way. God came to Earth Himself in the form of Jesus Christ, and willingly sacrifice Himself on a cross. His shed blood is the price that cleanses us from all of our sins. Jesus rose from the dead three days later as eye-witnessed by over 500 people.

We are not promised our next breath. There is a choice before you. Accept Jesus as your personal saviour and spend eternity with the only true living God, or spend eternity separated from God, which is spiritual death, burning in a place called Hell. Knowing you could possibly die in your next second, what are you going to tell God when He asks why He should allow you into heaven. You can't say you don't know because you just read about it. Won't you ask Jesus into your heart/ life right now. Just pray this prayer out loud.

Dear Jesus, I know you are God and that I am a sinner who deserves hell. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my life. Please be my Lord, my saviour and my God. Thank you Jesus for dying for me, help me now to live for you. In Jesus name, Amen.
